1. Introduction
Welcome to Vidyasaar. Vidyasaar Foundation (“Vidyasaar”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website vidyasaar.organd all associated sub-domains, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform. Please read them carefully before using our services.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Platform in any way — including browsing, creating an account, enrolling in a course, or making a donation — you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Use of Platform
Vidyasaar is a free, non-profit educational platform. You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes subject to the following conditions:
- You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
- You must not use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or any content that is harmful, illegal, or violates the rights of others.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download Platform content without prior written permission.
- You must not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- You must not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform or its servers.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these conditions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
4. User Accounts
To access course progress tracking, certificates, and personalised features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and not sharing them with any third party.
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it.
- Notifying us immediately at admin@vidyasaar.org if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to disable accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period, subject to applicable data retention obligations.
5. Course Enrolment & Certificates
All courses on Vidyasaar are free of charge. Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access course materials for educational purposes only.
Certificates
Certificates of completion are issued digitally upon satisfying the defined completion criteria for a course (typically: completion of all lessons and a passing score on the final assessment). Certificates are:
- Issued in your account name; accuracy of name is your responsibility.
- Verifiable online via a unique URL but do not constitute a formal academic qualification or professional certification.
- Subject to revocation if obtained through dishonest means (e.g., multiple accounts, quiz manipulation).
Vidyasaar does not guarantee that certificates will be accepted by any employer, university, or regulatory body.
6. Donations & Payments
Donations made through the Platform are processed by Razorpay and are subject to Razorpay’s terms of service. Vidyasaar Foundation is a registered non-profit entity. Donations may be eligible for tax deductions under Sections 80G and 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to applicable rules and the donor’s individual tax situation.
- All donations are final and non-refundable unless mandated by law.
- Receipts are issued electronically to the email address provided at the time of donation.
- We will contact you within 7 business days if there is a processing error with your donation.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to course materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Vidyasaar Foundation and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, modify, or create derivative works from Platform content without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
By submitting content to the Platform (e.g., feedback, testimonials, forum posts), you grant Vidyasaar a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vidyasaar Foundation, its trustees, employees, volunteers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Financial information provided through the Platform is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Vidyasaar platform globally. Where applicable, disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajisthan.
